Traveling champs

So I am finally back home after traveling to Europe for 10 days. DH, DS who is 20 months old, and I had a thoroughly relaxing trip visiting my dad. At 23 weeks pregnant, I was happy to go through the trip feeling wonderful.

I was worried about how my son would take the trip and a lot of you gave great tips, so I wanted to thank you all!!

Any tips for the long flight?  I leave for India in the morning and have a 13.5 hour flight to Dubai that I need to survive.

Do you have a baby or are just pregnant? If just pregnant, drink lots of water and make sure to eat. I kept myself full and felt great. I did wear compression socks that helped keep my feet from swelling. I didn't get up to walk around much but that's just because I hate walking while flying and was entertaining my son :)

If you have a baby or toddler with you, LOTS of snacks they are familiar with. You can take any food with you as long as its not liquid. I brought snacks plus several books, toy cars, favorite stuffed animal and sons normal crib pillow so it was familiar.

    Good luck!!

Glad it went well!  We will be doing it again when I am 35/36 weeks to get me to my delivery location.  Should be interesting.
