So I am finally back home after traveling to Europe for 10 days. DH, DS who is 20 months old, and I had a thoroughly relaxing trip visiting my dad. At 23 weeks pregnant, I was happy to go through the trip feeling wonderful.
I was worried about how my son would take the trip and a lot of you gave great tips, so I wanted to thank you all!!
Re: Traveling champs
Any tips for the long flight? I leave for India in the morning and have a 13.5 hour flight to Dubai that I need to survive.
Do you have a baby or are just pregnant? If just pregnant, drink lots of water and make sure to eat. I kept myself full and felt great. I did wear compression socks that helped keep my feet from swelling. I didn't get up to walk around much but that's just because I hate walking while flying and was entertaining my son
If you have a baby or toddler with you, LOTS of snacks they are familiar with. You can take any food with you as long as its not liquid. I brought snacks plus several books, toy cars, favorite stuffed animal and sons normal crib pillow so it was familiar.
Good luck!!
