Hi All,
Still waiting for my 1st AF after D&C 4 weeks ago but wanted to get a head start on lurking. My husband and i had my DS in 2011 after 2 years of IF but an uneventful pregnancy. We started TTC#2 10 months after he was born and were lucky (we thought) to get pregnant in December but had a mmc at 7.5 weeks. Waited 2 cycles and got pregnant again in April. Everything was going well with that pregnancy until my 12 week NT scan showed a high NT and fetal anomaly heart defect. We lost that baby at 13 weeks. I am currently undergoing all the RPL testing and Counsyl test, but my RE says that these 2 losses were unrelated and statistically, the odds are in my favor to have another healthy pregnancy. Unfortunately i am terrified of another loss, another D&C, another broken heart. Only 5% of women experience recurrent loss. Nothing about this fertility journey has been easy but i love my DS so much and want to give him a sibling so bad.

@linzok22 I'm sorry if you felt unwelcomed because that was truly not the intention. We simply asked you to be mindful of your audience over on TTCAL and put a warning in the title. TTCAL is an amazing place filled with a ton of women who have tons of support and knowledge to share. However, many of us do not have any living babies and on particularly rough days it's difficult to read about LOs. I hope you understand and get to know us better.

2IF issues
I started ttc #2 since January 2011. Two losses. RPL testing showed nothing. Only issue my age, I'm 39. There are many ladies with the double curse of loss and IF. This board is great as is the TTCAL. Two losses are terrible but for many Dr they don't test until you have three. It sucks to be on the bad side of the odds. I wish you much success in the future.
