Can I Join You?

Hi Ladies!

It's been almost 8 months since I first joined TTCAL, and find it's getting harder and harder to post there with the amount of turnover that's happened since I joined.  I hope you'll let me find a little comfort here with you?  

My name is HelloSweetie1 (formerly Nyahsbabyblues) and DH and I have been together for 14 years.  We have a 6 year old DS, and were hesitant to TFAS because we felt our family was complete.  When DS turned 5 we both decided we wanted another LO in the house, and DS desperately wanted a sibling.  We tried a few months, and were lucky enough to get pregnant last year.  Everything was going well.  We saw a heartbeat, and everything was great, until at my 12 week appointment they couldn't find the heartbeat.  The doctor wasn't worried, but sent me for betas anyway.... it wasn't good.  The baby had passed 5 weeks earlier, and my body just hadn't figured it out.  I waited in limbo for days for a confirmation ultrasound so I could get things "over with" and only got one when I called and cried on the phone with the X-Ray clerk.  I miscarried that evening after convincing the doc to give me Misoprostal instead of waiting it out longer. That was December.  

I was lucky enough to get a BFP this last cycle, but sadly that pregnancy only lasted a week, and I'm currently miscarrying.

My issues: I have endometriosis, irregular cycles, and long cycles, so getting and staying pregnant has proven to be a challenge.  DH travels for work a lot, so not having a predictable fertile window has added a lot of pressure and stress to an already difficult process.  I have an appointment to see the specialist on the 12th of this month, and I'm hoping we are able to come up with a plan to better manage my endometriosis and regulate my cycles.  Surgery is probably going to be the first step.

A couple more things to know about me:

I'm an animal lover, and have 4 cats and a dog.  The amount I've spent in vet bills the last 5 years could have covered a round of IVF!

I love pop culture!  I'm an absolute geek when it comes to TV and movies... if it has a cult following, I've probably seen it. I prefer to be happy, so I shy away from things that are too dark and violent because it really gets to me.   Anyway, that's pretty much all there is to know about me.  

Can I stay... please?

Thanks for the welcome guys! I changed my name due to privacy issues. Plus, Nyah is the kitty in my avatar, and it was weird for people to call me by her name all the time :P But June, you can call me whatever you like!
