I just wanted to say hello and would like to ask if I may join you. I read the newbie link -- thank for the info!!

I am so sorry that so many of you have had a losses and so many others have had multiple losses. I never would have imagined how hard a m/c would be to go through.

My name is Christina. I'm 33 and from New Orleans. My husband and I couldn't have been happier when I got my BFP in May. He couldn't keep a secret and told everyone that we were pregnant (even the UPS driver that delivers to his office). Unfortunately, we had a miscarriage just over 8 weeks later. Time has helped my heart ache a little less but the emptiness is still very real. We are hoping to start TTC again soon.

We have 3 fur-babies: Jackson (our rescue lab) and MooMoo and Pumpkin (our cats). I am an animal-lover and couldn't imagine life without them. DH could probably do without the cats though

So sorry for your loss and welcome to the board. FX you don't have to stay very long, and in the meantime I can't wait for the chance to possibly see those furbabies on our furbaby Friday post!

This is my husbands sentiments exactly! I'm an animal lover too, and tend to "acquire" pets in need of a home. We have 4 cats (I know!). That's our maximum though... DH put his foot down at 3, but another needy little fellow came along and he caved. We also have a dog.

Welcome to the board! (Although I'm sorry you need to join us). I'm very sorry for your loss.

Welcome!! I'm sorry for your loss....my dh agrees with yours. We only have 1 cat he is 13 yr old and the most loveable cat I've ever had!! Good luck ttc

So sorry for your loss, but welcome to the board.

My DH feels the same about the cats. We had 3 when we first moved in together (and 2 big dogs) and he swears I tricked him and he thought two of them were my sisters. We have lost a few of our fur babies over the years and DH has been able to keep me in check from becoming an animal hoarder!
