period is late /cyst aspiration/ttc for a year

A little info about me I've been ttc for a year. Monday I had a ovarian cyst removed so that I can be ready to start an IUI treatment cycle. Problem being  my period is late so I can't start my IUI cycle until I actually have a cycle day one (it's never late) I went to the my Re office today they wanted me back in there the day after my cyst aspiraton for an ultrasound/bloodwork even though my period is still late. Back in June I was put on Norverel birth control pills because I was being prepped to begin an IVF cycle that never was(due to insurance not approving me for) saying I need three iui's in before I could proceed with an IVF cycle.  I know that stress/ pregnancy can cause issues with you not getting your period but I wasn't sure if there were other possible causes. Before I had my cyst aspiration I did have a urine pregnancy test done(nothing showed up) the bloodwork today was for hormone checking so i'm not sure if anything pregnancy related would be included in that? Has anyone on here not gotten their period for many days and how late did it finally arrive or did you have it not arrive at all. I know that sometimes the pregnancy hormone isn't detected in your urine in early pregnancy. I also took one test and it was negative.

Were you put under anesthesia for the cysy aspiration? That can mess with your cycle. When did you stop the BCPs? Keep testing every four days or so and call your RE if you still have not gotten in by last next week to see if they want to run more hormone testing on you to see where you are at. If the cyst was producing hormones it might take a while after it's gone for your body to adjust.
