I noticed in everyone's favorites the other day that we are all in love with our babies eyes. Most hoped they stay the same which got me thinking... And I wanted to try out this feature
My son's eyes were steel grey with hints of blue when he was born. Now they are turning a lighter shade of blue with grey in the innermost part. I hope they stay this color they are beautiful. Any color they end up being, he will rock it.
they've changed from dark blue to a more varied blue, lighter on the outside. i love their color. my son's eyes changed from dark blue to a gorgegous chocolate brown. i love them too
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
With my DS his eyes were steel blue for about 9 mths, then green and then finally around a year old they became hazel which they still are. For the longest time I thought he was just going to have blue eyes which neither DH or I have.
DD's eyes have been brown since she was born. But DS was born with blue eyes. They stayed blue for about 4 months, then changed to a blue-green until 1, then they were gray until shortly after when they finally "settled" into hazel. Pretty neat how eyes can do that. I remember reading somewhere that eye color isn't "set" until age 2, and that was definitely the case with him!
Some even change in adult hood. Mine just settled two years ago. They went from blue to hazel w/ yellow to green. Now they are light green and stayed.
His are still a dark gray but with blue around the edge and brownish around the middle. I really hope he gets his dads baby blues though, all my family has brown eyes
My daughter's were like gray navy blue when she was born, but have turned to light green/blue with a dark green outer ring (just like mine). My husband's eyes are brown, so we'll see if the green sticks...

This is DD Exactly!
