Sciatic nerve pain?

Has anyone else experienced this? What have you found helped the most!?

  • Just to rest. Mine is real bad, all i can do is lay down for a few.

    Taking a warm bath (I had to fold up a towel under my back in order to comfortably lay in the tub) followed by laying on a heating pad helps mine. That's about it.

  • Stretching, by far, has been the most helpful- with both pregnancies.

  • I have seen a chiropractor and a massage therapist for my sciatica they both explain that tight butt muscles (I wish it meant I had a tight tush) sit right on the sciatic nerve. So warm compresses/bath help loosen up muscles. But also stretching and walks/swimming help a lot.
