You want to try and test around the time when you expect your period. Do you know when you ovulated or when you're expecting your period? Charting will help you understand your cycle and make better informed decisions about when to test.

My longest cycle was 29 days

If you are TTC, you should sign up for Fertility Friend (it's free), starting temping and charting, and learn what is going on with your body.

In the meantime, POAS all you want but the longer you wait the more accurate it will be.

If it were me I'd test on day 30 given this information. But like the ladies said, you can test whenever you'd like.

So how long is it from the first day of your period to the day before the first day of your next period? We would call that the length of your cycle.

E.g. My period lasts 5 days and it is another 22 days before the next one so I have a 27 day cycle.

I'm confused and worried because I have never been pregnant before and this is my first time trying. I don't no whats going to happen or how I'm going to feel. It's just all something new to me

You're TTC and worried you might be pregnant? I think you have it backwards. 

As for what's going to happen, well typically when you get pregnant you drop a baby about 9 months afterwards. It's this crazy thing.

Sex 7 days in a row .... I'm exhausted thinking about it.

Its best to test after your missed period I'm guessing sometime after aug 8th.
