Learned a new trick

Hey ladies! I haven't been around for awhile as we were on a 10 day camping trip (DS did fantastic!). While we were there I was talking to my aunt who is a former NICU and L&D nurse about how DS seems to spit up more when he eats on my right side. She mentioned that they used to put babies on their right sides to help with tummy issues because of the way the stomach attaches and empties. When he was eating on my right boob he would be laying on his left side. I tried nursing him in the football hold (which I found incredibly hard to get comfortable) on the right and cradle hold on the left so he's always laying on his right side and it has drastically cut back on how much he spits up! It's amazing! I would have never thought about it if I hadn't talked to my aunt. So any of you having a similar issue might give it a shot. When I tried it I figured it wouldn't hurt, I had no idea it would help so much. Hope everyone and their LOs have been doing well!
