SCH??

Hey ladies,

Just wondering if any of you have had experience with this before?? I went and had an ultrasound 2.5 weeks ago at 6.5 weeks and baby was measuring for a due date of March 4th and had a heartbeat around 130..I guess I had a "small subchorionic hematoma bleed" but the doctor or the ultrasound tech both didn't say anything to me about it. Just said everything looks good..come back for a followup ultrasound in 2 weeks. Well, I came back today and had my followup ultrasound at 9weeks exactly..baby is still measuring on point with dd of 3/04..heartrate was 179. Then the tech says "your bleed" (SCH) got smaller, so that is good. I DIDNT even know I had a "bleed" I haven't been bleeding..or anything. So, she says not to worry, everything looks great...and the dr said the same thing..but easier said than done. So I googled it when I got home and really shouldn't have =/ It seems it can have a better outcome if its small..which mine supposedly is..but still nerve wrecking. Any of you guys had experience with this?

Thanks!!

Re: SCH??

  • Yes and my outcome was terrible. Typically SCHs should reabsorb into the uterine lining... so the fact they told you the bleed got smaller is a wonderful sign! Don't stress over it especially since it looks good. Again easier said than done but since your so early it probably will all turn out wonderfully.

    Good luck momma!
