Just thought it might be fun to do a check in with our LOs!

Age: 20 weeks

Weight: 16.5 lbs

Height: was 25 inches at her 4 month apt, so probably 25.5-26 inches

Clothing size: 3-6 and 6 months...6 months are a little big in the shoulders, but most of her length is in her legs!

Favorite things?: her ball with the holes in it (she can grab on), mommy's looongg hair, Merlin Sleep Suit, her bright rattle, bright links, going on walks in her stroller, watching mommy eat

New skills:" started rolling back to tummy around 4.5 months, still struggles with tummy to back (I don't even think she's really trying), sitting unsupported for a few seconds at a time, jumping in her jumping bouncer, grabbing EVERYTHING she can, reaching for mommy with her hands when she wants to be picked up

 

 

Pearls+Oysters

Age: 18 weeks

Weight: 16 lbs as of this morning

Height: 25.5 inches

Clothing size: He still fits some 3mo onesies, but he is mostly wearing 3-6mo and has been for a good while. His 3-6mo sleepers are getting small, but the 6mo sleepers are a little too long... We're slowly getting there! 

Favorite things?: My hair, my fingers, his wet washcloth straight from the fridge (say hi, toofers!) and his muslin blankies. Oh and his Bunny my mother made for him.

New skills: He's been rolling tummy to back for a good 3-4 weeks, and is on his way to master the back to tummy roll. He has a lot more coordination and has started grabbing repeatedly and willingly, and passing from hand to hand. He's been using his legs to push himself up a lot, and loves being held in an "outward facing" seated position... Anything that allows him to be sitting, and exploring at the same time, makes him happy. As far as sitting by himself goes, he's been leaning forward a lot, and can actually hold the position for 3-4 minutes.
