Good morning!
At least I hope it is good. Many of us spent some time in L&D yesterday. I hope everyone is doing better today.
How was everyone's night? Any updates.??
QOTD: Do you think environmental factors like full moon and change in barometric pressure can cause our bodies to do strange things such as increased contractions, labor, etc?
Re: ~Tuesday bed rest check in~
Slept like poop, mostly because I was in L&D until about 4am, I just ate breakfast and I'm ready to sleep for a few hours! I'm wondering if I can up my procardia dose until next Monday (when I hit 36 weeks) but also thinking that may be stupid and not worth the side effects.
Contractions are taking a toll on me. I know that many of you have had issues since way before me so I feel silly complaining, but not having a clue what is going on and taking trips to L&D is just exhausting. I don't think I could be more mentally or physically exhausted.
QOTD: L&D nurses always say stuff about a full moon...has to be something to it? Maybe...? I really have no idea. haha
Currently watching "a baby story" I am excited about this epi because its about a lady or had two loss one still born boy, one early mc and now on bedrest with cerclage. She did bedrest starting 12wks and made it to 39wks
I am also waiting for my nurse to get here. Today she will do the doppler little ones heart beat :-) I have a Doppler but haven't used if in weeks so it would be nice to hear little girls heart today. After today's shot only 11 more to go.. Woohoo lol
Qotd I sort of believe things happen on fullmoons.. Was it a full moon yesterday?
QOTD: I do think things happen on full moons, no scientific evidence, but I have seen it affect the behavior of the kids I work(ed) with. I am a teacher assistant in a special ed preschool, well when I go back, I will be back in the kindergarten class I got moved to last year. The kids have some rough behavior to start with, but they always seemed worse when there was a full moon.
QOTD: Yes, I believe the full moon has an impact. My siblings are both doctors and have seen it many times. I have never heard about barometric pressure though.
27 weeks today! Looking forward to that magic 28 next week. My turn for a horrible night of sleep but my uterus decided not to cave too much to peer pressure, so there is that!
I do believe in the effects of the full moon, as a teacher see it all the time. I don't always think science can explain everything. Happy day, everyone.
I slept amazingly well last night! Maybe 9 hours if I take out the 3 times I was up. I've overdone it the past few days so I look forward to getting back on track by not cheating at all with my MBR restrictions.
Qotd: I have heard it a lot about full moon, not sure about other weather patterns.
QOTD- I'm pretty sure that my kids go crazy with the moons and whatnot. I don't know why it happens but I'm sure that it does happen.

Working in an elementary school, I definitely believe the moon affects things...
My night was ok. Changed rooms to help with my psyche. I was in the same room for 3 weeks. Kinda blah to see the same walls 24/7. The doc came in this morning, poked around my belly and said "got a good sized baby in there". Whatever that means.
QOTD:: I think there is something to be said about full moons and pressure and what not.
Before leaving the hospital they gave me an Ambien. Anyone have crazy hallucinations when taking Ambien? I felt like I was losing it. DH said I was talking like I was drunk. So weird. I did sleep pretty good though.
Today I am excited because I am going to go ahead and order the rest of the stuff we need for baby. 36 weeks will be here soon, and I don't want to be at the hospital and realize we don't have everything we need. So it will be fun today picking out the last of the stuff we need. It will not, however, be fun paying for it.
QOTD: I used to work at a law firm specializing in medical collections, and people get a lot more mad and crazy around a full moon. I don't know why, but it always seems to happen that way. Also, I don't know what the deal was yesterday, but a bunch of us ended up in L & D. Not sure what could have caused that, but I thought that it was strange. My husband's co worker's wife actually had her baby yesterday at 36 weeks. And I ran into one of my former co workers while I was at the hospital yesterday. She was having lots of contractions. So yeah, lots of people in the hospital all on the same day. Maybe just coincidence but still interesting.
Aw man, sorry you were in L&D too! Ambien makes me go BONKERS! If I don't take it while I'm in bed so I can fall asleep within a few minutes, I start doing weird crap that I don't remember. It's so weird and it freaks my husband out.
Congratulations on the milestones today!
Kneenah, glad you found inspiration!
Wallace, good luck today.
Hope everyone gets some rest.

We just finished our MFM appointment. The girls still have a pretty big discordance, but individually B is keeping up. They both gained about a pound in 3 weeks. A is 3lb 14oz and B is 3lb 2oz! Dopplers and BPP look good.
