Sorry for the multiple posts, but this has been so emotional just getting here that I've needed an outlet.
We met with our surrogacy coordinator today and have started the process! We have an appt with a new RE (surrogate coordinator works with them) for Aug 12. He'll do a work up and also we'll have a psych eval that day. Then in Sept we will begin looking for a GC! This will probably take 9 months, so we will try to cycle and bank frosties during that time. Depending on DH's MFI the first cycle will be in January. After that we'll probably do two more cycles and bank the embryos. Once we find the GC we will still have to wait 3 months for the paperwork to be approved- so our GC will most likely only do her first FET in Sept next year.
It's sounds like so far off, but it is so exciting to know that we are finally starting this long journey!

ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
