Baby Names

Twin girl names

Expecting identical twins, but I don't know if they are boys or girls yet.  We are pretty decided on our boys' names, but I'm struggling a little bit on girls' names, even though it's a little cart-before-the-horse.

Which 2 of these names are your favorites both as a set of twins' names and with an older sister Eleanor, NN Nora? Anything we should straight up eliminate? (I clearly wouldn't name them both Ada and Adeline, but am undecided between the two!)

Ada
Adeline (NN Addy)
Elizabeth (NN probably Eliza)
Vera
Olivia (NN Liv)
Isla

Any other names for consideration?  Thanks in advance!

  • Elise is pretty, but a little too close to Eleanor for my taste.  Same deal with Cora, a little too matchy with Nora.

Ivy is on-again off-again on the list and I considered submitting it for consideration, but I keep coming back to Ivy as referring to a "climbing vine".  I used to love the name Briony from Atonement but couldn't ever bring myself to use it because the meaning is "poisonous climbing vine".

    Thank you for the suggestions!

I feel the exact same way about these two names!

I love Ada and Vera as a set.

I'll have to think of some suggestions...
