WWYD co-worker talking shlt-- UPDATE

i was just talking to the IT person, who had me remote into his computer because i had to look at files to transfer (long story).  anyway i could see his entire screen, and a chat came up with the other IT guy.  clearly he forgot i could see his screen (how i have no idea) and said "I am talking to Cousin Fu*king Vicki, she doesn' t know what sh;t she needs to transfer!"

my mouth DROPPED and i was about to say something immediately but held back to think it through.  i am going to send an email, recapping this little quip, but not sure who i should CC (if anyone?)  I am PISSED!!

ETA: this guy is a moody bltch, and  can sometimes be nice, sometimes make things, easy things, EXTREMELY difficult for no real reason.   so my tolerance for him is at an end anyway.

HAHA busted! We do screen sharing all the time at work and when I've caught people doing stuff like that I usually just point it out casually. That's enough to make them cringe.

for the record, i am super nice at work (LOL shocking!), and rarely call him for anything.  i am not one of those annoying "omg i need IT my computer won't turn on" people haha

I wouldn't start anything with the IT guy. Especially since it looks like you need help from him fairly often. You of all people should have a thick skin about this.

omg i do NOT need help often, that's what i said!   and yes i have a thick skin, i am not crying here, but i don't put up with A$SHOLES either. i am not gonig to acquiesce to some prlck IT guy give me a break.

DONE.  i emailed him, short and not-so-sweet, and asked if i should go through his manager in the future for any issues lolol

AND

i signed it Cousin F'ing Vicki.  FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh and i have to still see hm face to face tomorrow loll

I wouldn't put anything in writing....  unless you are seriously offended and it's a letter to HR or to his superior.  No sense in incriminating yourself with no evidence to throw out against him.

I would take a screen shot and send to you or his boss. That is ridiculous! Im sure its probably a common occurance and needs to be addressed

Love that you called him out on it.  What a lameass reason he had for doing it.  I think he was scared for being called out.
I would've said that putting f*ing between words or people's names is not a good idea in a business setting no matter what the business is.
