Workout FAIL

I had my 6 week PP appointment last Wednesday, and the doctor gave me the ok to work out.  So I got home and thought I'd try some yoga, one of my favorite things to do before I was pregnant.  After several warm-up stretches, I tried to go from a bent-forward position to downward dog.  I planted my hands on the floor, lifted my leg to step back... and crashed-landed on the floor.  Nice.  I then moved onto a circuit-training workout that I'd also done pre-pregnancy.  It's three sets of three exercises that you do three times.  I could only do seven of the nine exercises, and I could only do each circuit once instead of three times, but it's a start, right?  I need to get cracking on exercising today so I have something decent to post about in tomorrow's Getting Healthy check-in!!

Aside from walking, what exercises have you all been doing?  I need ideas!  FWIW, I had a c-section and my incision is clearing up after an infection, so swimming is out.

  • I was proud of myself for doing 20 crunches while DD was awake on her playmat next to me. haha! No, but I also try to get in a stroller walk with my 2 dogs too. Just hooking them up to the stroller is exercise enough.
