Glucose test - when is yours?

So I've heard about the glucose test, but my dr. hasn't said anything about her wanting me to take one. Has anyone had theirs yet? And how many weeks were you?

So far the only thing I've had done for monitoring glucose was the initial blood panel near the beginning, and the dip test with urine every appointment.

Ideally it should be done no sooner then 24 weeks and no later then 29 weeks

I had mine last Thursday at 28 wks 4 days. They scheduled it with an U/S to check my placenta and my regular, biweekly midwife appointment so it was like one stop shopping! Perfect! See if your office can schedule it with your next appointment or U/S (if needed) to save time (at 26 wks, your next appointment will probably be around the 28-29wk mark anyways). You have sit around for an hour...may as well see your OB and LO during that time.

I took the one hour twice. The first time was around 23 weeks or so and the last time was around 1.5 to 2 weeks ago I think. I'm 30 weeks today.

i didn't realize they could be done so late. My doc told me to make my appt as soon as I hit 24 weeks. I was 24 weeks and 1 day. She told me about it at my 20 week apt.
