question about editing?

So, I usually go and delete my posts after a week or so. Just because what I say here is 'private' (I know har har har) and I worry if BM were to ever stumble here and find it. It would open a can of worms. I'm seeing there is no more 'delete' button. Does that mean we can't delete our threads anymore? I saw on my most recent one it says 'edit 1 month'. does that mean I have one month to edit it? I may just have a bunch of blank posts hanging around after the week grace period that I usually leave posts up for. Yes, no, maybe?
