Not what I was hoping...

I started spotting today and it seems to be getting heavier so I guess iui #1 was a bust. I had a complete breakdown yesterday. Thank goodness for DH. Seriously, I don't know how I lucked out with such a supportive guy. The weird thing is that I'm on progesterone and I still started. And usually my first day is super crampy and very heavy but today has been really more like a day 4. I'm starting to feel as if having a baby is never going to happen for us. I've really lost a lot of hope as each month passes. I'm also getting more and more bitter and resentful that I have absolutely no control. It hurts. I'm hoping to get started on iui #2 if I get the o ahead from my re but part of me wants to give up.

You're all so sweet. Thanks so much for being a constant support. We are moving forward with IUI #2 since I have leftover Follistim. I'm also working on revamping my attitude. IF really sucks -- everything can be so perfect, and you can still end up with a bfn. As we get closer to our 2 year mark of ttc, I'm trying really hard to let go of the failed past months and move on to a new future. Thanks again for your hugs and support!!

Hang in there.  There is always a few days of being upset and discouraged when af shows.  You'll regain some hope as you start this next cycle.  I'm sending up lots of prayers for you.  I hope this next cycle is it for you!  I am still waiting out the 2ww, if I o'd late then af may be later than I expect, so I am trying to be patient.

I'm so sorry MJC!!! Your chances are still good for second try! Some weird advice, try humor during/ right after procedure. Research as been done showing it helps with hormones vs just going on about day. We didn't do IuI?, did IVF and FET but the time we were cutting up on the table (seriously, they had to wait until I stopped laughing - legs up and I'm totally exposed an all- to transfer eggs in with tube, doctor was totally cool about it and told me it was ok, laughter was shown to help so take my time)). Compared to previous cycle, I was so stressed doing the procedure and was losing job and all. Doctor was laughing and told me about the research on the laughing and not laughing.

Thank you!! I love the laughter thought. I think that definitely has to help. I was so much more carefree TTC DD -- of course I hadn't had ANY issues, but now I feel so stressed and overwhelmed. I need to lighten up!   I think I'll have to have some serious giggles when I go in for the next one!
