This is not true. Brewers Yeast (fine powder form, used in beer making, and for supporting milk supply) is different than nutritional yeast (usually flake form, used often as a cheese substitute in vegan diets). I get my Brewers Yeast (and my nutritional yeast, coincidentally) at whole foods. Brewers Yeast is usually (this is weird to me) in the protein powder section sold in jars. Nutritional Yeast is sold in the bulk foods section - at least in my local Whole Foods.
