Baby Poop. TMI!

So, I just changed my 12 week olds formula. She is a spitter, she usually spits up half or more of the bottle. She was on Good Start concentrate, and I changed it to Enfamil thickened. She is now having hard stools, she turns bright red and has a hard time passing them. I noticed last night that there was a little bit of blood in her stool. on a good note she barely spits up anymore. Should I wait it out, or go back to the Good Start?

Switching back and forth can cause lots of stomach issues. DS1 had awful acid reflux. We had to add rice cereal to his breast milk and formula bottles to keep it down. That, plus his Zantac, led to constipation. I had to add an ounce of prune juice to his bottles to keep him regular. Of course, check with your ped before doing this. You can also give her a little Karo syrup in her bottle to soften her stools.
