D figured out he could climb in the last week...and he's not stopped since!  This is one milestone I was in no hurry to reach!

Here are a few examples of places I've found him the past few days...and yes, in the second one he is IN the water table.

    As anxious as I've been about him not meeting other milestones, this is one I've been enjoying him taking his time figuring out.  The boy is climbing EVERYTHING, he's like Spiderman

    He was hard enough to keep up with when he was just moving horizontally (boy is a runner)!  And oh yeah, he is so proud of himself every time he scales something new.  Only one tumble so far (on the stairs, something he's been doing for ages), but a ton of close calls where I pretty much saved his life.  Toddlers...

    After two girls, I'm a bit nervous about the boy....I can let my girls loose outside and they will pick flowers, etc. I'm worried the little guy will be jumping off the roof or driving the cars when he starts walking!

    If I let him loose outside he'll run as far away as possible as quickly as he can...and be giggling the whole way.  If there is something dangerous, like a busy road or a cliff, without fail that's where he heads.  Thankfully he's not figured out how to climb onto the roof yet (the end tables, yes).  Not sure if it's a little boy thing as I have no girl at home, but he for sure keeps me on my toes!
