Bum Genius washing question

I have 5 bum genius pockets that I was gifted. I read that they dont need to be prepped like my prefolds but an initial wash is good but I cant find specifics. Can I wash them in just a normal hot cycle? or do they need to go through the whole wash routine? and the dark colored ones can bleed, should i wash them with a load of dark towles or something? sorry this is such a dumb question, im still new to all this!!

I just throw new pockets in with the rest of my diaper laundry the first time. Some people say they've never had problems with bleeding, but I did have my dazzle BG bleed, but nothing that didnt eventualy sun or wash out. You could throw them in with towels if you're worried about that.

Is dazzle the fuschia one? That one bled on me as well. I would prep with a regular diaper load, or even with a load of sheets or towels or something if you use cd safe detergent.
