Elementals take a ridiculously long time to dry. I tried one out early on, and it wouldn't get dry in my dryer, and then spent at least 2 more nights on the drying rack before it was dry enough. I decided not to keep it.
I prefer Elementals. They take 1 night to dry for me on a rack or dry outside in a day, if I put them out to sun. They are absorbent, trim and I like not having to stuff them.

Hmmm I like both. Elementals do take a long time to dry. I dry my diapers on Low heat for 1.5 hours and the elementals are still slightly damp. So I either put them in for another 30 minutes or so, or I leave them out for half a day. But I like them, they are trim and require no stuffing. I like 4.0s because they are fairly quick to dry, have a stay-dry lining, can add absorbency for ON, and are a good bit less expensive. Both fit my little guy well and I pretty much never have leaks with either.
I really did not like the new style elementals (I never tried the old.) I hated how wide in the crotch they were and the inside would always get really bunched up. Also it was the only diaper I had "explode" with poo. They were incredibly trim though so +1 for that.
Thanks everyone, I think I'll try just one then and go from there. I was trying a ton of different pockets for DH/baby sitter and after all was said and done, the 4.0s worked the best! Keep it simple I guess. But I am curious about Elementals for the no need to stuff so I guess I will give that a whirl!
I loved them both for different reasons. 4.0s are my favourite, but after awhile the MF just wasn't cutting it anymore and the natural fibres of the Elementals were just better with no worry of compression leaks.

I'm a 4.0 purest. I do not like the elementals. I should say I've only tried the old elementals though. They take forever to dry and heaven forbid if you get a poopy. The poop is hard to get out from all the layers and they stain very easily.
