Lightheaded during glucose test?

So I'm waiting the hour for my glucose test I feel alittle lightheaded. Did anyone else experience this?

I get lightheaded when my sugar gets low... I get a floaty feeling (really hard to describe) when my sugar gets high. 

I'd ask a nurse tho.

I got lightheaded when she was drawing blood. I felt okay up until that point....and I was fine when all was said and done.

I felt a little shaky and sick, like I do when I have too much caffeine. After a while, I felt like I crashed- really tired and blah.

Thanks for the answers ladies.  I wasn't at my doctor's office for the test.  They have us go to a lab. to get that kind of stuff done.

Halfway through I got really lightheaded and hot and dizzy. My doctors office and the lab are in the same building though and they do it so you drink the stuff, have your appt and go back and have your blood drawn. I'm glad because my sisters doctor sent her home with the stuff to drink and then come in. I wold have had to pull Over if that had been me.

I had it done today and it was really no big deal at all. My doctor told me last week though she had a chick vomit it up all over her. I think the trick is to eat a light breakfast. I had a piece of wheat toast and some water which my doctor encouraged.

they kept asking me if i was feeling ok during my hour of waiting.. and  i was thinking in my head why am i soupse to feel sick.. then all of a sudden 20 mins before they could do the blood  i felt light headed and felt i was going to throw up.. so i went and grabbed a nurse and they said its normal.. they did my blood a tad early so if i threw up i wouldnt have to come back and do it again.. mine came back normal but the other two tests they also do with the glucose was low.. not that low but im starting to get anemic so they put my on a iron supplement just in case..

Thanks for sharing.  I had a very similar experience to you - fine for most of it then all of a sudden toward the end lightheaded.

During the 1 hour test I felt mostly fine (but failed)

And I was fine during but after the 3 hour test I felt horrible. I literally could not pull myself together/focus for the rest of the day. I felt like I got hit by a bus. My head was...swimmy.

124, the normal for my lab is 65-140. I didn't fast or anything before (wasn't told to) so maybe they would have been lower if I had

Waiting right now. Got a little lightheaded a little while ago. Feeling better now with 15 minutes left to go. I've been having dizzy spells the last week and the dr thinks its low blood sugar so hopefully they figure it out.,

I felt a little lightheaded when drinking the stuff. I also failed miserably.

I did the glucose test with only 2 hours of sleep. I felt like a total space-case. Completely out of it but not light headed.
