I plan on never quitting my job but never really going back just so I can still get the discount. Basically becoming a very, very, very part time "fill in" person and not ever regularly scheduled. When I'm ready to go back to work I will more than likely apply at our competitor, Carter's, because I like their clothes better. Employee discounts all around lol.

I am currently listening to my kids get into the craft closet. I should get up and have them clean up the mess but my allergies are so bad I am just sitting here wiping my eyes and blowing my nose.

I wore a nightgown out as a dress last night.  I had no idea when I bought it that it was supposed to be sleepwear until I looked at the receipt.  You totally could not tell, but I still felt a littlle weird. ">

I'm trying to be a good wife, but I'm really stressed out about my relationship with DH. He's off in AZ for school, and I feel like his new MOS is going to break us because he has to be all "secretive" with me about stuff. It drives me absolutely insane. I just want my old husband/marriage back.

I'm seriously over how clingy/whiny DD is being. It's stressing me out and making me want to just run away. She whines and cries about everything. I feel bad because she's sickly and stuff, but I can't deal with it.

My mom is driving me crazy, but I need her here so I am doing my best to keep my mouth shut because last time I got into it with her I almost blacked out. She's overbearing and makes me feel like a bad mom.

I do this all the time!! I had 2 full days off this week and when I was not sitting on the couch watching SVU, I was out for coffee and lunch with friends and their kids.

My confession is that if you do not appear put together I will assume your house is dirty.
This includes wearing PJ-like clothes in public, overly stained clothes, not brushing your hair, being mama-june-mobility-scooter obese.  This may come as a complete shock, but I do not like people with messy houses.

i concur, and not only do i assume your house is dirty...i assume your whole life is not together. however, the past few days based on how i look i am sure ppl are probably thinking this of me

Yup, I'm researching home birth this time. I'm hoping to make it to the hospital, but with DD2 my midwife warned that she would have been born at home if she hadn't have been turned just slightly. As it was, she was only born 2 hours after getting to the hospital. So I want to make sure I know what to do if we are home and #3 doesn't give us time.

Sorry, I know my confessions are a bit whiny/vent-ish.  I'm just having a tough time right now and didn't want to be an AW with my issues in my own thread. FFFC seemed like a suitable place.

I wish the drive-thru was for beverages only! I run into this at Dunkin and Starbucks, and it drives me bananas.

Me too....I also totally judge people based on how clean their baseboards are and the base of their toilets. Their house might be straightened but not clean.... There is a difference.

I ALWAYS notice this!  If you didn't bother cleaning this for company, I don't even want to know what your house looks like when people aren't there.

Thanks. I always feel really stupid because I never know what to believe and what not to. Then when I question him I feel like an idiot or something because he gets all upset and tells me that I just don't get it. He took out $160 the other day, and when I asked him what it was for he said he couldn't tell me about school stuff. He went on a mini shopping spree at the mall and said he "needed" everything he bought and that if he's spending money it's for school and it's 100% necessary.

I just feel like this is going to be an excuse for him to hide things/lie to me, and I hate that. It's just bad timing with everything that's been going on with us for the past 6 months or so.

No that wasn't me. Mine is the one whose sister was killed in the car accident in April. He was already slipping away before that, but her death broke something in him.

My boss has been out of town since last Friday and doesn't come back until next Tuesday. We closed on our new house Monday and he knew I'd be out of the office that day...but then I conveniently scheduled painters to come in and paint the office on Wednesday...the day I had movers scheduled moving us into the new house. Since I couldn't be around the paint fumes I got to take Wednesday off as well. Well, the painters didn't finish everything and have to come back on Monday - which means, darn it, I'll have to stay away from the office and be at home unpacking again...

They've been painting our offices off and on for a couple weeks, and I've used it a ton to leave work early. I wish they would paint all the time.

I am close friends with someone who used to fill my role in another department in our division. We worked together on several ongling projects and would meet weekly or biweekly for a working lunch. She had been venting all year about a "food thief", and then once the department figured out who it was, she told me (I used to work under her, so she would fill me in on all the office drama).

When the food thief put in an application to work in my department, I flagged it and refused to interview her. I may have written "food thief" on the post-it note.

I can do steak tartar but not raw hamburger.  That kind of creeps me out.

That is awesome!  I worked in a medical office and the 24 hour urgent care workers would clean out the fridge over the weekends or after hours.  People started lacing their lunches with ex-lax.

The best part is that I have the 1812 Overture playing in my head to go along with the images.

(And no one give me any grief about typing in the quote box.  I can't get out of it, there's no white space for my cursor.  Talk to the "developers.")

I've noticed that happens sometimes Btimes...it needs to go on Kimbo's list. I usually get out of it and re-quote it. Other than that, no advice or flames on this thread.

I have cried everyday this week at things on the TV...like when I was watching Wipeout or a rerun of HIMYM.  Pretty sure DH might call a 5150 on me.

This is a spin off on your post. DH has made me cry every day this week (I think). A couple of days in I realized that I am being way to emotional and it isn't really his fault. So now I just go sit by myself in another room until I can get myself together and then usually tell DH something he said upset me. He will apologize, but it doesn't really help because the next day I find myself crying again. Someone tell me this is normal and I am not crazy. Nothing else is really making me cry, just him. I find myself being sort of needy when it comes to his time and what not but at the same time all he does is upset me so I also want him to go away at the same time. I feel like an overtired 1 year old. uggghhh!

I was out and about yesterday with my 3 yr old who is very close to being potty trained. We went to an appt, dropped a drink off at work to my DH and came home. No accidents the whole time she was out. We got home and I immediately tell her to go potty. She didn't and she went to play instead. I found her a few minutes later and she had peed and pooped in her pants. I gagged so hard that my lunch almost came back up. But when my DH got home I told him that I did throw up so I didn't have to do the dishes, pick up the living room or cook dinner.

My boss just told me they want to take my full time position down to part time, effective Monday.  Although we were planning on this money for the next two months until I go on maternity leave, I'm secretly relieved that I will only have to endure 4 hours a day instead of 8 hours a day of this place.
