Sick Baby/Creating bad habits?

We're on vacation (away from home) and K is sick. Stuffy/runny nose, super congested and a cough. It's not awful during the day, but night time is horrific. Poor little guy can barely breathe. He's been sleeping with us in bed b/c it's easier than getting up 20 times a night to replace his paci or soothe him back down. I think he's doing a lot of comfort eating too. I find I'm nursing him to sleep for every night and at night b/c that's the only way he'll settle.
*sigh* I hope when he's better things will get back to normal. On the upside, I think it's boosting my supply b/c he's eating so often. Poor little dude...it's awful to hear him sick, but I hope I'm not creating any bad habits in the meantime.

Hmmm. We just went through this. She's better now but has decided she doesn't want to sleep in her crib anymore.

First of all, I'm so sorry that LO is sick during your vacation! What awful luck:( 

I would just do whatever you need to at this point until LO gets better and not worry at all about establishing bad habits. When DD is sick, I nurse her constantly, hoping to pass her as many of my antibodies as possible. I really think it's one of the most beneficial aspects of BFing so take advantage of it!

I let my LO sleep in the rnp when she was sick and she transitioned back just fine..
