Update-Induction

I was to be induced today because my blood work shows there is a small placental tear. I had my amniocentesis this morning and the results came back that his lungs aren't ready:( Now I'm just gonna be a big ball of nerves until he can get here safely...

Edit: his lungs aren't ready so they will not induce yet. I have to wait it out

Thanks everyone. As of right now I have another apt in the morning for monitoring and a blood draw. I think they're aiming for Wed or sooner next week...my head was in a total fog when I was on the phone with them and I didn't catch much after they told me about his lungs. No mention of steroids yet, but tomorrow morning I can go in with a clear head and get more answers. As if now though DS is still very active and rambunctious, so I feel ok about being home.

I guess they probably know what is best, but definitely talk to them about steroids and getting him out sooner rather than later, placenta issues would freak me the hell out. ( sorry,probably not helping!!)

I had no idea they could even tell from the outside whether the lungs are developed enough! T and p that they mature quickly and everything goes well.
