You are a strong woman! That was a long intense birth but you did an incredible job. I cannot believe your original MW (Eileen) was to tired to go with you. That seems like a really crappy thing to tell a laboring mother. I am glad everything worked out and you have a beautiful healthy boy. Congrats!
Congratulations! I can't believe your MW didn't go to the hospital with you. I am mad for you. Sounds like you had a wonderful MW at the hospital though. Congrats again!

Amazing story. Thanks for sharing. I was cheering for you and yelling with people at you as I read it (the midwife, the wheelchair guy, the "she's naked" doc). I had a multi-day labor with DS1 and I could relate to many details. I have been working up the emotional energy to share DS1's birth story on my blog and this helped me get one step closer.
