Intro from IF and a question

Hey ladies, I figure it’s about time I intro over here <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I’ve been on the IVF board since February, our first round of IVF ended when none of our embryos made it to day 5. Our second round ended with a BFP! My beta’s were lower than the average at 35 (10dp5dt ) and 82 (12dp5dt) but as I’ve now been told many times it’s the doubling that mattersJ .

I had my ultrasound today at 6w4d. Heartbeat was 123 and baby was only a day behind measuring at 6w3d. The RE did seem as bit concerned about the size of the sac though as it is measuring 5 days behind.  I have to go back for another ultrasound in 2 weeks to make sure it is growing.

Have any of you had experience with this? Heartbeat on track, baby on track but a lagging sac?

 

Looking forward to getting to know you guys and hoping I can stay for a full 9 months!

    Congrats on your BFP!! I don't have any experience with a lagging sac so I'm sorry I don't have any advice. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months here!!!
    Me: 29 DH: 32 Married: 10.25.07 Been dealing with amenorrheoa since I was young. (Literally go years w/o AF) Unexpected and very surprising BFP in Feb 2007. M/C April 2007. :( TTC since 2008 Metformin- Didn't help. :( Clomid 50mg/Provera cycle #1 7/2009 - BFN Clomid 50mg/Provera cycle #2- 8/2009- BFN Clomid 100mg/Provera cycle #3- 1/2010- BFN ...Took a break... 2012- Met with RE 09/12- Day 3 Labs- FSH 2.5, Estradiol 47, TSH 4.5 (Doc re-ordering Day 3 labs) DH sperm analysis- all good 11/12- Day 3 Labs- FSH 4.3, estradiol 38, TSH 2.51 Prescribed Synthroid 11/12- HSG all clear 1/13- IUI with Femara and trigger shot on 1/31- BFN 2/13-IUI #2- cancelled due to low response 3/13- planning IUI with injectables

    Congrats and welcome! I had low, slow betas but no experience on slow sac growth. I hope it catches up and everything looks good for your next appointment.

    TTC #1 March 2010 - Nov 2012
    Me: 29, PCOS (anov), Hashimoto's Disease // DH: 30, normal SA
    3 Clomid, 1 Clomid/Menopur, 1 Menopur w/ TI (CX 4x's due to cysts) - All BFN
    1 Clomid/Menopur, 2 Menopur, 1 Follistim w/ IUI - All BFN
    RPL & Karyotype testing normal

    IUI #5 (12/1/12) --> Follistim + 1/3 hCG Trigger = BFP! EDD: 8/23/13
    Betas --> 61 (13dpo) // 156 (16 dpo) // 223 (18dpo) // 656 (21 dpo)
    U/S --> 5w0d - sac seen // 6w0d - hb detected // 7w0d - hb seen and heard, measuring 6w6d!
    8w6d - wiggly baby! // 9w3d - wiggly baby with fingers!

    Is he sure the sac is small and not misshapen? Also did he measure the fetal pole to get the 6 week 3 d measurement?
