Help with furniture

The room is painted yellow, kind of pale like the color of butter. We have espresso furniture. I'm not reprinting it but I can't figure out what color curtains would look good in the room.. Or some kid of theme that would look good with the yellow? I was thinking navy blue.. I really have no idea.. I just don't want it to be super babyish.

I would agree with Navy blue or even a sage green.  Grey is a popular compliment to yellow but i'm not sure it would go well with espresso furniture.

Yeah I meant to add I don't want to do gray bc DD's room is gray with pink accents.. I am trying I convince MH to get a new crib and changing table, since we got it super cheap and it is coming apart. So if we do I might do white, although I do like the dark wood against the light walls so I'm not sure..

I think playing off the rich tones of the woods would be gorgeous. Maybe pulling colors from pics like these.

Since you are having a boy, you can def go with a dark blue, sky blue, purple, orange. White of course always works. Maybe look for a bright print that has these colours to give the light yellow some life.

I love navy blue w yellow. PBK has a set called backseat driver that's got yellows and blues & is really cute. You could just order the crib skirt & crib sheet from them --that's what I did bc the other pieces aren't necessary anyway. I'm mobile.
