After 11 cycles, 14 months, and 1 IUI, I can finally say I am knocked up! Yesterday at 14dpo, we got our BFP.
The Details: I tested yesterday morning, and honestly, was expecting to see a negative. I dipped a wondfo and watched for about a minute, the test was white, so I walked away and went about my morning. After eating breakfast and walking the dog, I came back and saw a blaring positive. Obviously the test was invalid, and I figured there had to be a mistake, so I tested again. The second wondfo came up positive as did the digital. Cue this face:

After pulling myself together, I called the RE's office. The were able to get me in immediately for a beta. It came back later in the day at 242! My repeat is Friday. That's when it started to sink in. Holy crap, I'm actually pregnant!

What we did: This cycle was our first full cycle with the RE. A vacation delayed any medications, but we decided to go ahead with an IUI the day after I had a +OPK. We were able to hit O-2, O (IUI) and O+1. We didn't do anything different than we have on previous cycles (sorry, no headstands for this gal), just OPKs, CM, and charting. However, since meeting with the RE in June, I've been on several medications to help regulate my PCOS. I also had an HSG earlier this cycle. I'd like to think the combination of all that, with the IUI, was just what we needed!
EDD: April 2, 2014
Symptoms: Nothing out of the ordinary. I've had a little spotting (mostly brown) the last week, but just assumed it was part of my usual pre-period routine (and also why I didn't test sooner). I've also had light cramping the last several days. Honestly if it wasn't for the beta, I'd think my period was right around the corner. Need proof? I did too:

How I Told Him: While waiting for my beta to come back, I decided to do a little retail therapy. I honestly always thought I'd just wave the pee stick in his face, but I found an adorable onesie that said "I'm a Catch" with a baseball theme. Baseball is our thing. Before we started dating we would get together simply to throw a ball. It was perfect. At first he thought the onesie was for a friend's baby shower we're attending this weekend. Then, he figured out it was for us. He just kept repeating, "You're pregnant!?!"
Squishy Booby Love: I have no idea what I would have done without this board over these last 14 months. You ladies are amazing and sometimes the one thing that kept me sane on this long journey. The friends I have made pulled me through when I thought I couldn't take it anymore. Thank you for your support and love. Special shoutout to G and SuzyQ. I seriously couldn't have made it without you two these last months.

(On a side note - I've unofficially become the TTGP Grad Check in person. If you lovely ladies wouldn't mind keeping it posted, you can bet I'll be coming back on Tuesdays for that thread!)
