For background, I am a medical professional in a clinic setting, and see patients and interact with physicians every day. Attire is normally business casual - dress pants and a button up shirt/top and cardigan, etc. with flats or nice sandles. But being 7 months along, all I want is to be comfortable at work these days, which recently (even though I have 2 pair of maternity work pants) has been a long stretchy black skirt w/top or sun dresses. I'm getting to the point where my sundresses are starting to not fit anymore (aka too much bump!), so would it be completely inappropriate for me to wear leggins to work? Not with a tiny tshirt or anything, but with a long dressy tunic that COMPLETELY covers my bum, as well as with my lab coat. I should also note that the physician I work with has already given me approval to wear NICE super supportive black Teva flip flops, as regular flats 1) hurt my feet and 2) don't fit sometimes after a busy day because my feet will swell, especially in this heat. I would normally NEVER consider wearing leggins to work, but I'm normally not 28 weeks pregnant in July LOL :-P
Thoughts??? Any are appreciated, thanks!
