Preemie help

DD is 7 weeks old but her due date is not until Friday. She came home 2 weeks ago at 4lb 7.6oz. I got 2 dozen preemie prefolds but she seemed to outgrow the absorbancy very quickly. Every time we changed her the entire prefold would be soaked. I've had her in GMD newborn prefolds and fitteds for the past week+ and she does a good job soaking these too (not completely like the preemie).  These are quite bulky on her as she is only 5lb 4oz now.  I think she is just a heavy wetter already. She also sleeps for about 3hrs at a time and I don't wake her just to change her diaper.  

Current stash: 12 AND orange edge prefolds and 6 nb workhorses, 4 lil joeys. I also have 5 bumgenius nb aio. 

She's still too small for the bumgenius (supposed to fit around 6lb).  I need to buy more diapers and would like more than 4 aio that fit her. She should hit 6lb in the next few weeks. Do you think the absorbancy of the bumgenius nb will be inadequate when it finally does fit?  The lil joeys have worked great for us so far. I don't want to order more if 1) the bumgenius nb will work soon and 2) if she will outgrow the absorbancy of these soon. Help please!
