I'm the middle, but there is a such a large age difference between my little sister and me that our birth order tendencies are kind of messed up. I am a very diplomatic person, though, and I chalk that up to being the middle child.
Well I am kind of a middle child. My brother and I are twins but I am 2 minutes younger. I think I kind of fit into that stereotype. My sister DEFINITELY fits the baby of the family stereotype.
Youngest of 2 girls. I don't think I fall in the typical birth order. I'm very independent, much more so than my older sister. I'll do almost anything alone, but she can barely go to the mall by herself. However she is bossier than me, which I think is a typical eldest child trait.
DH is also the youngest of 6. Supposedly two youngest siblings are not supposed to get married, lots of strife, etc. We're ok so far, almost 9 years in...
I guess I don't know the stereotypes.. I'm the baby, and no, I don't act like a baby-hell I have it more together then my older brother (4yrs older then me)
I was the youngest and DH was the oldest. I don't necessarily think I was a "baby" about things, but I do know that it was much easier for me than my brother.
DH was the oldest with twin little brothers. He definately fit the older sibling mold. He had to "compete" with twin brothers.

I'm spoiled but not rotten. I'm only spoiled because my parents have nobody else to spend on. Now, my boys are the ones that are spoiled more than I am because they are boys. My parents always wanted a boy and only had me....so MH and my 3 boys are worshipped around here now.
I HATE the only child stereotypes ;P I don't think I fit them - maybe a couple to a small degree, but not so bad that people just KNOW I was an only or anything.
i am the oldest and definately fit the sterotype. DH is the youngest and at times fits the sterotype, but he really is hard working and responsible. just tends to want to be nurtured and spoiled. LOL...

I have always said the same thing I knew I was lucky because my parents didn't have to split resources, so I had a lot of advantages I wouldn't have had if I'd had siblings.
I am totally grateful for everything and I was not just handed things - I had to work for them.
I'm the middle child and yes I fit the stereotype. DH is the baby and he does as well. He's extremely hardworking but he needs to be nurtured and affectionate and expects my attention all the time.
I'm the oldest and due to the many year age gap between my sister and I, technically I could be considered an only. I do fit both in some aspects but Im almost head on with the oldest.
Re: S/O: What's your place in birth order?
Middle child --- and need I answer!
(Yes, I fit every stereotype of a middle child)

Oldest; Yes.

Ditto this 100% (except I was an only child for 7 years)
