1. How far along are you? 40 weeks, 1 day

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? I updated in a couple of threads yesterday, but I had my 40 week check-up yesterday. I've been at 1cm since 37 weeks, and there was still no change, although my cervix is lower, apparently. She did do a membrane sweep, but it didn't seem to do anything. Sigh. I'll be sent to the hospital next Tuesday or Wednesday for another check-up and to make an induction plan if I'm still pregnant, although I hope to God I'm not!

3. Anything else you'd like to share or vent about? Not really... I'm just tired and frustrated and really don't want to be pregnant anymore. My doctor thinks Hunter is at least 8.5lbs already, and that scares me. One of my big fears was giving birth to a big baby, although I know it can be done!

4. QOTD: If you could take an all expenses paid trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Is it bad that I don't know the answer to my own question? lol There's a bunch of places I'd really like to go. I think I would say a Mediterranean cruise so I could see lots of different places in Europe at once. I'd love to see Italy, France, Greece (and the Greek Isles!) specifically.

Tired of acid reflux and not being able to get comfortable.....big baby measuring approx. 9.5lbs...give or take. 4. QOTD: If you could take an all expenses paid trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Have never been to Hawaii....that would be pretty nice.

1. How far along are you?
40 weeks and 2 days. Not as overdue as some, so I do feel bad for complaining still... but... technically officially overdue and SOOOOO over it. Someone posted a while ago the five stages of grief pregnancy style. Yup. I've gone through all of them. Multiple times.

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments?
Friday I have a very lonnnng appointment. A nonstress test, something else that I forget what it was called, and an ultrasound. Then there's another appointment for Monday but I am not sure at all why they scheduled that one so soon after Friday's appointment....? Forgot to ask.

3. Anything else you'd like to share or vent about?
I am just so tired of people asking where this baby is or asking how I am feeling or if there's any progress. I would just turn my phone off and not respond but then people will worry and that's no good. Also, I am really annoyed at FIL for saying all along that the doctors were wrong and that I would be overdue. Yeah, he was right, but there were real symptoms that the doctor was within reason to be concerned about. Just can't stand hearing his "humor" on a good day, so it certainly is not happening now.

4. QOTD: If you could take an all expenses paid trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Hmmm.... Last year, one week from now DH and I were spending the week at a Sandals in Jamaica. It was beautiful. Hot in the sun but the breeze was so cool and there was almost no humidity that it actually feels worse here in MA today than it ever felt there in Jamaica. So, that being said... I would go back to someplace in the Caribbean like that- good breeze, cool water, all inclusive drinks... mmm! Or else someplace in Europe- probably Germany since that was DH and I's second choice for honeymoon vacation spots. Lots more expensive than what we chose though!

Went for my last OB appointment on Monday, my OB doesn't want me to go 1 week over due date so induction is set for Monday night which I am not thrilled about it so really hoping she decides to make an appearance before then! 

3. Anything else you'd like to share or vent about?

INSOMNIA and lack of mobility and comfort... also false labor alarms.

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? Growth scan on Monday revealed a possible 10lb 8oz baby.   Yes you ware reading that right...10.5lbs.    So that's cool.   Doctor appointment yesterday did membrane sweep and stretched me to 2cm, but said he doesn't think I'm going into labor before this weekend.    Another NST and BPP scheduled for tomorrow to check on baby.  

3. Anything else you'd like to share or vent about?  My doctor is on vacation (I saw a "sub' yesterday) so I can't even discuss with him the growth scan results.   4 weeks ago baby measure 7lb11oz and he said he doesn't schedule c sections for big babies based on growth scans, but I don't know what he'd say to 10lb 8oz.   Maybe the same thing, maybe not.   Also because he's on vacation my induction isn't scheduled until Sunday night.   So baby is just getting bigger and bigger. 

4. QOTD: If you could take an all expenses paid trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?  I think Bora Bora or someplace similar.

I feel the same with all the texts and phone calls. I want to ignore everyone, but you're right, then they worry, so... Just trying to be as pleasant as possible! I have been telling people who've asked to come see me not to come, though. I'm too cranky to play hostess! lol

I've always wanted to do a Sandals resort! Someday, I hope!!

    Had my NST at my 40 week appointment on Monday.  Everything looked okay.  Nervous about his size. :-/

    Today is my 35th birthday.  I know it doesn't *really* matter, but I really wanted to have my first baby before I turned 35.  I know it's a matter of days... but I am so upset.  It doesn't look like he's coming today either.  I would love if he did.  So much pressure on the little guy.  These last few days I've gotten exponentially more emotional.  And there are two things I do NOT want, but afraid they'll happen just because: I do NOT want him born on the 26th.  It's my sis-in-law's birthday, and she hates me and likes to make everything about herself... so I selfishly do not want him sharing a birthday with her.  And I do not want him born in August.  I've got a bunch of smart a$$es telling me "oh, haha, he won't come until August!"  It's not funny or cute to me.  I'm usually way more tolerant and amused by people, but I'm feeling really grumpy now.  I  just don't want these people to be right.  If he's not here until August, he'll be well over 10 pounds.  My vag is crying as much as my eyes are.  Whew, that was a vent and a half...

4. QOTD: If you could take an all expenses paid trip anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Hmmmm, I would make it an adventure and go to a lot of the places I want to see: Australia, New Zealand, backpacking in Europe, Hawaii, Greece, Thailand, and the Galapagos Islands!

2012ames - i hear ya about crying.   when doc told me yesterday he doesn't think he's coming until this weekend (and he's already estimated 10.5lbs) I got home and cried and cried.    I know healthy is most important and honestly I've had an easy pregnancy so I can't complain about that, I'm just SO ready to meet him, SO impatient and SO nervous about his size!    I was due 7/19 and kept saying I better not have an August baby...well I feel like if I wasn't getting induced Sunday night he'd definitely stay in there until August.

2. Any upcoming/recent appointments? Apt tomorrow, hoping for some progress, good news, maybe schedule an induction because at this point i am ready for something to happen.

3. Anything else you'd like to share or vent about? This is BRUTAL! Still sick- ears and sinuses are clogged, getting text and calls like crazy from people that haven't checked in my entire pregnancy has me on lockdown in the house.

4. QOTD: If you could take an all expenses paid trip anywhere in the world, where would you go? Besides the hospital at this point?! Outer banks. not expensive or glamorous, but i am so missing that vacation right now.
