Things are going well on my end. I have my consult with AFCC on Monday. I have no idea what to expect.

Vino da Penguino needs to show his drunk face around here again soon I think.

I see some congrats and sticky dust are in order girlfriend!!! Everything is crossed for you.

Not sure who I have all updated on the consult but in case I missed you, IVF is our only option for bio kids. My PCOS was off the charts (um, 134 antral follies). So we're going to probably schedule it for sometime after the new year.

Holy crap!  Yes, your PCOS is definitely off the charts.  I'm glad you have a plan though.  How do you feel about the outome?

Thank you for keeping things crossed for me!  I'm still nervous - and definitely not jumping off this board anytime soon - but I am also trying to stay hopeful.

You know....not going to lie, the first night/day after was rough. I just felt so overwhelmed and sad. I kept telling DH he should just leave me and go get someone else ku. LOL. Ok, not my finest moment. But with a few days of clarity, we decided we needed to try this first before moving on to either adoption (plus in WI, the laws kind of suck and you have to be done with IF treatments) or CFNBC.

First, I've been there.  I have said those exact words to DH - one more than one occassion.  It's horrible and not a nice thing to say, but I completely understand where those feelings come from.  How shitty.

Second, that is the stupidest law I've ever heard.  It's annoying me.

lol, it's annoying for sure. And no matter what kind of adoption you do, and how you find the birth mom, at some point you have to go through an agency for a portion of it. It's stupid.

Oh well. I'm still trying to figure out where the hell I'm going to pull 10k out of my ass but...lol. Plus I have two sisters getting married within a month of each other next may/june. Can't I just win the lottery? That seems much easier.

I know what you mean about the money.  I kind of just spent it and I'll pay it later, lol.  But I'm like that.  Irresponsible I guess is what they call it

u/s did go well, but I feel like it's just the start to a massive journey.  I hate the anxiety, I think I need some really strong meds.
