Sig updates

So do I update the same way as before? I always had to go to TN to updare my sig, will I still have to do that? Anyone?

I just saw links that BJ posted on Chit Chat about siggys. Mine went back to one from 6 months ago! Weird!!

ETA: The jury is still out on whether or not I like this new format. Time will tell!

I like it except that it is too white and I really miss my other board access to the left of the screen. I don't know if I have my other siggy saved on my computer.

I think I'm just going to deal with the old siggy for a while. She said they would import over eventually. I looked at those links and it just made it seem more complicated. At least for now!

ETA: not too complicated to just make a few spacing changes...so that's good!

Second question - anyone know how to resize using the new option? Though my kid is cute I don't think you all want the full 4x6 image every time I post.

Gah! I just updated the actual picture in photobucket to shrink it and posted it. Super easy. But, it is still too big...more updating to get it right.

I was able to just paste the actual pic into the signature settings edit box, as opposed to entering code. If you paste it in, you should be able to just drag the corners to resize.

That didn't work for me, but I think I am good for now. Though according to my ticker I only have a little more than a week before it gets updated with her 11 month photo.

The links that BJ provided include a link to the old style board (i.e., the newer siggy). You can copy and paste from there. Or, it sounded like she was saying that they will transfer over eventually.

I was wondering that too. I wasn't able to paste my picture, so I ended up using tinypic and that worked.

I was wondering that too. I wasn't able to paste my picture, so I ended up using tinypic and that worked.

I ended up using tinypic too but then I just copied and pasted instead of using the code to put it in and it worked.

I already miss my little monster pic though. haha

My pic was hosted on imageshack, so I viewed the image there, copied it, and pasted it into the signature field in my profile settings, using the link above.

hmp, you should know me better than that. I am having quote issues on the computer. Who knows if this will work on mobile. Anyway, it takes out the original poster's name and won't let me type in the white space! I am just rolling with it.

The pics need to be small enough that they fit side by side and then you can just delete any spaces between them.

OK--I'm still not getting it. If I follow the link to the old siggy page, it's got the code for the correct one but what am I supposed to do with it? I've hit save about 15 times and it was still the old one. So I copied the code and went to the new format and dropped it in, but as I feared I just posted the code as my siggy. So other than having to go recreate tickers and find everything again, how do I just make what should be the current one appear again?

There's a whole new siggy area. Go to Chit Chat, there's an explanation there. Maybe someone can also post it here?

Try this, if you look in the upper right corner of the screen on this page, click on the little head and shoulders icon for Account and Preferences. Then, on that page, on the left, is Signature Settings, then you should be able to copy and paste pics or code in there.

The first link is your current siggy from the old bump, so you can just copy it and paste it into the second link.

I haven't had luck using the IMG code from tinypic so I had to use the insert picture icon and use the direct layout code from tinypic.
