We seriously have a paper grocery bag full of chocolates, candy and cookies from the holidays. Stuff that people gave DD, stuff that was brought to our house as a hostess gift, etc. This is all on top of the bowl full that is still sitting in the back of our pantry from halloween (which needs to get tossed). It's absurd.

Re: I think I'm going to open a candy shop.
Oh, I know. We have TONS of candy and I'm not supposed to eat it because I'm having some blood-sugar issues with this pregnancy(they haven't said the dreaded "gestation diabetes" words yet but said to cut out sugar until they test me again at my next appt.). It's just sitting there, calling my name.
Also. Um...your daughter is ridiculously adorable, Viva! That hair! Those dimples! She's just beautiful!
I'll eat a piece here or there but sweets really aren't my thing so it's easy to resist. (I'm a much bigger fan of chips - why doesn't anyone ever bring potato chips or Doritos as a hostess gift?!?!?)
DH will eat it if it's sitting out but ice cream is his big passion so even he's not that interested.
Mia on the other hand could probably eat the whole bag in one sitting but seriously, how much chocolate and candy does a 2 year old need? Our family is crazy. Each one must think they are the only one that decided to give her chocolate for christmas!
Thank you Purrrf! So is yours and that caption is hysterical!
So sorry about your sugar tests! I hope it doesn't progress any further.
