DH's girl name list

Lord help me. Sorry if your kid's name is on the list. We have a tough last name and I want something relatively easy to pronounce and spell. I do agree that some are beautiful, but just too complex and the others are nms. 

        Alabama- his all time fav, but he let me cross it off.

I like Paige from that list.  Nice and simple and sounds good with Annabelle!

If you love Charlotte, I would use it. I have a cousin with the same name as me, and it was never a problem. We almost had the same MN too. Could you talk to her parents and see if they're OK with it?

From that list, though, I'd probably do Alessandra b/c it seems to "go" with your DD's name the most.

Joe just emailed me today about Piper!  I like a lot of those names. Annika and Paige are probably my favorite from that list but it is really hard without knowing the last name - syllables, dominant letters, etc. It makes such a big difference when you say it all together.

Campbell - I've never heard that has a first name before. It reminds me of soup.

 Viva, I do think Piper is cute. I am trying to let them grow on me like he did with Annabelle. Okay if it helps the second part of our last name is "Jesus" prounounced the Spanish way ) But of course most people pronounce it like the biblical way.

I have to say your husband generally has good taste.  You should have seen my DH's list a couple years ago.  Anyway my favorites on that list are Annika, Ainsley and Eloise.

First of all, the name Annabelle is so cute.  ;-)

I think you have some winners on this list.  I  like Piper, Ainsley, Harper, Paige.  Some of the others are nms but certainly not bad.  I don't like Scarlett (too O'Hara for my tastes), Winifred, Annika.  Peyton is a boy's name IMO.

Really? I like a lot of names on his list, actually. But I get what you are saying about liking a name, but not using it for *your* child.

REOM- thanks! We had Carolina on our list the first time. We would pronounce it with a hard "I"- not like the state and people would get it wrong. I also think Caroline is cute. Girl names are so hard.

I really like your H's taste! Be thankful he has some... My H just wants to say 'no' to all my suggestions without bringing any of his own to the table, lol!

I really like Piper, Harper, Ainsley, Campbell, Eloise, Amelie, and Paige.  Piper is on our short list and Paige is Layla's MN.

Ironically, the ONLY two girl names my H has ever suggested were Campbell and Alabama!

Just FYI, Scarlett is, believe it or not, a biblical name - Yeah, I was shocked, too!

My religious neighbors had given very biblical names to their boys, and when we heard the name Scarlett when their girl came along, we thought WTF?  BUT, there is a bible verse about taking sins and turning them pure (Scarlett to Snow), so my neighbor's child is named Scarlett Snow.

Just throwing that out there...
