My DH received an awesome Christmas bonus, so we have decided to buy new nursery furniture. We were going to inherit SIL's mismatched set, which I liked the crib, but SIL bought it used so its over 4 years old and has been assembled and reassembled several times which makes me nervous. It also has 2 different sets of teeth marks......
So I've just started my 3rd Trimester, and am a little behind. I know some places you order from can take 10+ weeks for you to get the crib. If you wouldn't mind sharing, please show me your cribs!!! ( I wouldn't mind the details, cost, shipping time, pieces you ordered, etc.)
Thanks so much!
Re: I get to buy a new crib - I need help!
I bought a Da Vinci Kalani Convertible Crib in Espresso. We put it together yesterday. It is very sturdy and didn't cost an arm & a leg. We ordered it and it got to us within 2 weeks.

We ordered Munire's Olde World Crib from the Newport collection:
We ordered it the second week in December and they said it will take 8-10 weeks to come in. We ordered from USA Baby and it was a $470 crib on sale for $400. We only ordered the crib because we have furniture in the room we were color matching to it. Good luck!
My IL's bought us our crib from Pottery Barn it is the cabin collection in sun valley honey - I can take a picture of it tonight...
I love it! It shipped in 5 days - standard ground UPS the box was huge and took my DH and my FIL to haul it into the nursery and DH took nearly an hour to assemble. The box weighed 167 pounds. The crib was $799 on sale for $599 - it is such good quality and even has a storage shelf underneath. It is a great crib!!

Princeton Sleigh in Garnet Hickory
We also ordered ours from USA Baby. (I am in Kansas) They said it would be 6-8 weeks before it would be available, but called us within 4 weeks and everything was in.
We went with the New Haven line from Young America

It was more than we wanted to spend, but we wanted to get a crib that would convert and this furniture line has been around for ages, so we can continue to add to the room as the baby grows.
I think USA Baby may be having their once a trimester sale in late Jan.
We ordered ours from JCPenney. Had it within 10 days, surprisingly.
Ours is the Cottage collection.
We got ours from Pottery Barn, the Kendall in Espresso. It came extremely fast, as it is usually considered an "in stock item."
G/L to you!
