I have never bought it before until Saturday. I normally buy another brand and dilute it myself with water. I'm normally a label reader and this one got past me. I read that it had 40% less sugar than reg apple juice and I looked at the sugar content and it was true compared to our reg brand, so I bought it.
The next morning my dh points out that it is already diluted with water.
I paid .24 less for the motts which is watered down than I would have if I bought the 100% juice and diluted it myself. Therefore I paid more for something and got less than I would have normally based on how I use it.
I'm a dork. At least I won't do that again.
Re: Motts for Tots apple juice is a ripoff
I know it's diluted with water and that's why I like it
I don't buy it for the house, only "to go", so I don't really waste that much money, but I don't have to worry about diluting it at the park.
Ditto the pp, we send it to school w/DD. They don't dilute juice there so I send her in the with Motts for Tots.
I have juicy juice at home that I dilute like crazy. I make one bottle last a week or so, lol.
I buy the juice boxes so I am fine with it because you can't really dilute juice boxes.
DD doesn't really drink much juice so I don't mind. A package of juice boxes lasts us months and months.
