Sleep routine?

What is your sleep routine?

I have been doing bath, massage, bottle for my DS, but my daycare person said I should stop putting him to bed holding him......am I wrong?

We do pretty much the same routine and he usually falls asleep during the bottle but wakes up when we burp him. So then we lay him down awake and he falls asleep on his own.

Well, it is really not up to your daycare person! That said, it is incredibly freeing to be able to put E to bed awake and be able to have some time on my own!

Our routine is simple, bottle, burp, books, bed. Takes about 30 minutes.

I do bottle then bed. Natalie I can put down as soon as she has finished her bottle. Fussy butt Audrey I have to rock (or if I'm busy, put her in the swing) until she is dead asleep. And even then she still wakes up and fusses a little in her crib.

We do bath, lotion, nurse, swaddle, rock and then sleep.  DD does not go down well awake, so we're still rocking her to sleep at this point.
