Moms of Dec/Jan babies

Mine just turned one on 12/7 and between their b-day and Xmas, our basement playroom has turned into Toys R Us.  Seriously, could they have received any more gifts?  The crazy part is that DH and I didn't buy them one thing for either event.  We haven't even opened up maybe 7-10 toys and not one person gave us gift receipts.  

The joy of having a b-day around the holidays!

OH NO!  Our twins were born Dec.4th and DH and I were talking about this the other day.  I guess the bright side is that you didn't have to buy them anything and you are very lucky to have family that loves them so much.

We only got a few of those, but got a ton of duplicates such as two singing pizza elmos, two sets of blocks...got a ton of cell phones, little people, etc...

Did you get three of anything?  I can't imagine getting three of anything!

we got FOUR ride on toys, yow! we got three little people trucks, and lots of puzzles, but not too many things in threes. singing pizza elmos? that sounds cute. :P

my kids are the beginning of november and our house also looks like toy r us. we only bought them a few of the toys are the rest came as gifts. I don't know if i would do this, but i have a cousin that her birthday is on christmas and my mom always bugged my aunt to celebrate her birthday in june on her half birthday. if you celebrate in june you get summer clothes and the new toys are a little spread out.

My twins' birthday is in early November, and I feel like our house has been taken over by new toys! We didn't buy them too many, but we did buy more than we meant to... and our house has been taken over by all the new toys. It's like a toy store upended itself in our house.
