Is it like a charley horse? I've gotten those from time to time (before I was pregnant) - mostly when I was dehydrated or hadn't been ingesting enough potassium. Try drinking more water and eating a banana. Hope that helps!

I used to get those a lot. I would stretch my legs before I went to bed. Also if you wake up don't stretch your legs by pointing your toes (this was hard for me to remember and I would often screw up ) but it makes it so much better if you flex your feet to stretch your legs. I also started sleeping with my legs propped up on pillows (mostly for swelling) but it has helped with the leg pain too. HTH.
