We have a horrible night sleeper. So, we've been trying to establish more of a daytime routine including napping in his crib. Thing is, he'll only nap in his crib for 15-30 min. He'll nap in his swing for an hour or two. Is it worth it to keep trying to get him to nap in his crib when they are so short?
Re: Nap in crib=15 min, nap in swing = 1-2 hours
I'd just stick with the swing. FWIW, DD was like that until one day she just kind of was 'over' her swing and preferred going down in her bassinet.
Often times if baby has bad naps during the day it'll hurt night time sleep too so whatever works, you know?
Thanks.
Punkfiction - He sleeps horrible at night even when he gets 2-3 hour long naps in his swing. We were trying the crib to see if it makes it better. He is still up several times a night inconsolable until we feed him. Sigh.
