ugh, food help, he'll only eat cheerios

He was sick Tues. through Friday with fever, really bad congestion, and teething.

He stopped eating solids and only ate bottles, puffs, and cheerios.  Now, 2 days after fever stopped, that's still all he'll eat.  He used to eat peaches and a waffle for breakfast and he spits it out.  I put cheerios down and he eats those.  Oh wait, he just threw the cheerios on the floor. 

What can I do to get him back eating regular food?

Just keep giving him Cheerios.  He'll want something else eventually.

You can try making a trail mix of sorts and add some other dried stuff to the cheerios. Otherwise, I agree that eventually he will want other things. Just be patient.

Just wait it out.  My DD2 is like that too.
