PSA: Sudafed

in 2nd Trimester
Sudafed can cause high blood pressure.  So hopefully that's what happened to me earlier and it's not something more serious.  Of course I stopped taking it.

    Fingers are crossed and about the PP with your MIL, you and she are in my prayers. I hope things get better for both of you soon. Remember to do what is best for baby though--that little bundle is #1 priority (but you already know that :)

    Thanks.  I went and took a little nap and I am starting to feel a lot better.  My fever is gone too.

    Eeeek! You're probably right. I'm not a fan of sudafed even not pregnant. It makes me feel very "figity" for an hour or two and then REALLY tired... I would imagine the pseudaphedrine (I know I probably killed the spelling of it, but I dont feel like googling it..lol) increases your heart rate, which causes a rise in your blood pressure.
