I switched to 1/2 caff a few months ago and have no intention of cutting it out completely. With my last pregnancy I stopped drinking it and still ended up miscarrying. This time my philsophy is: I did everything perfectly last time and still ended up m/c, it is in God's hands.

I can't tell you how happy/relieved I am to see this post! I just got my BFP on Christmas, and am a big time coffee drinker! I didn't have any (at all) yesterday because of all the hype - and I had a terrible headache all day long.
Half-Caff it is, at least a few times a week.. maybe I can wean myself off!
I gradually got myself down to 3/4 decaf ( I make an entire pot for the house each morning and use 3 scoops of decaf and 1 scoop of caf.) I have two cups each morning. Sometimes I have a diet coke during the day.

Since I found out that I was pregnant, I've had a cup of coffee only a handful of times. ?I used to love it and look forward to it each morning, but it really hasn't sounded that good to me lately. ?
i drink coffee everyday, however most days it's decaf. sometimes i drink caffeinated. i drink coffee because i really enjoy the taste, not so much for the caffeine, so it doesn't bother me. altho dh is not happy that i keep making pots of decaf. oh well!
I normally love my lattes but have developed an adversion to coffee. One of my coworkers had the same thing happen to her. Otherwise I would have still drunk a little bit since my MW said it was ok.
I am drinking coffee right now--but it's decaffienated.
You can still have caffiene throughout your pregnancy. I tried to stay away from it when I was pregnant with my first pregnancy, but I still had it every now and then.
I never liked coffee but I drink a cup of hot tea every am and at least 1 diet coke every day, sometimes 2, I did the same throughout my pregnancy with DS and no issues at all
I found out on December 10th, I am now seven weeks pregnant as of today, and for the past two weeks, almost three, I have not had one iced coffee! And boy am I craving one...going from one large everyday to none. I did have some Pepsi though...on Christmas. It's tough to obey and I know the seriousness of really taking care of a living baby inside of you! I did go and get my hair colored too, at the salon yesterday...I am sure, with enlightenment from others, that I will be just fine. Now even a small iced from Dunking Donuts is the suggested serving amount!
Re: Who's still drinking coffee?
Right now we only have regular coffee in the house so if I really need a cup, I don't mind having just one. But I always get decaf if we are out.
