How much does your 3m old weigh?

I was just wondering because DS is already 16 1/2 lbs. I dont feed him any more than he wants (we feed on demand) but he does take 5oz of formula or 7oz of BM before he acts full. I was just wondering if this is too much and if he is a big boy! TIA

DS weights 17lbs,

He was almost 10lbs when he was born though. ?I'm sure you just have a big healthy boy! ?Babies really don't overeat in less you notice he spits up a lot or shows other signs.?

DS is 15 lbs.

He doesn't spit up excessively or anything like that. He was also 7lb 9oz when he was born. I just get comments from everyone about his weight and how big he is. I know he is healthy, but I dont want him to be predisposed to be obese or anything because he is already so big. His cousin who is almost 10 months old is 20 lbs and is a healthy looking boy. Maybe I just have a future football player!

DS weighs around 12 lbs. At birth he weighed 6 lbs.

Our girls are right under 10lbs, but they were born under 4lbs.

DS is the size of both of his cousins who are 9 months old.

Don't stress about it! ?Every baby is different, he's not obese, LOL. ?

DS is about 15.5, and we get, "Oh he's such a big boy!" all of the time.  It annoys me, because I think he looks normal and healthy.  His body type is very similar to the DS of the OP.  I know it shoudn't bother me, but I wish DH's  family mmbers would just stop continuously commenting about it! 

However, my friend has preemie twins and I am also surprised at how many people openly comment that her girls look "too small."  I think all parents obsess over  DC's size to a certain extent because we really just want to know they are healthy and on the right track:)

DS is 16.5 pounds too...and he's 26.5 inches long....I get comments as well about how big he is, but its all proportionate I think.  And every also talks about how much they thin out when they start walking, so I'm not too worried. (He was 8lbs 13 oz at birth.)

Our first was 19lbs at 3 months. Our baby was 12lbs, 14oz on Monday (so about 3 months, 2 weeks old).

Don't worry about the obesity.  I have 2 younger cousins that were born less than a month apart.  Cousin A was a super skinny baby until about 2 years old then became very big and still is at 16.  Cousin B was a big huge butterball of a baby and around 3 or 4 started to get skinny and still is today. (just turned 16)

at 3 months, ds was 15lbs 10 oz.  i am assuming he is now close to 17 lbs.  whatever.  every baby grows differently.  most of my friends that have kids say they grow really quick at first, especially if BF, and then slow down somewhere between 4-6 mo. becuase they are so much more active.  we are just waiting for ds to slow down with the weight gain!!
